Exploring Packaging Across Newell Brands
Great packaging isn’t just about protecting a product. It’s also about making an impact at retail, enhancing the consumer experience, and extending the brand. I led design projects across multiple Newell brands to develop packaging concepts to inspire internal teams, exploring ways to strengthen shelf presence, highlight key product benefits, and reinforce brand identity.
Contigo
With competitors leaning into premium drinkware, Contigo needed to refresh its packaging to better reflect its innovation and quality. The new concepts focused on elevating shelf presence with a cleaner, more impactful design that reinforced the brand’s leadership in the category.
Sunbeam
For Sunbeam’s portable heat patches, the focus was on creating a more premium, thoughtful experience for in-store and at home. The packaging introduced a higher-end feel at retail while doubling as a reusable storage container for added functionality.
Calphalon
Calphalon’s new stackable cookware set was all about saving space, and the packaging needed to reflect that. By rethinking structure and layout, we reduced the box size by 20%, improving sustainability, cutting costs, and making storage easier for both retailers and consumers.
